Handmade Holiday Gifts

Once fall hits, I start thinking about what I'll be making my friends and family for the holidays. I love giving gifts that are intentional and filled with love, and handmade gifts fit that bill. Here's what I'm thinking of making my loved ones this holiday season -

  1. I have been thinking about what to give for gifts this year. Only if I had 1 month off of work to make it all happen!!!

    Thoughts are ...

    1) Sugar scrubs. They are just so luxurious.
    2) Various baby/young kid related items
    3) Lined drawstring bags from a fav blog incolororder.com
    4) I really like the Anna Maria Horner Art Student Tote. I might try to make a few for my little cousins (note that I haven't even made 1 yet).
    5) I really love all of the Christmas ornaments out there made with old book pages and are sprayed with like a silvery glitter. Or maybe a wreath with that?

We should do a Christmas Craft Swap! Hmmm.. how would that work?

  2. Ooo Lauren! That all sounds amazing! I can't wait to see what you come up with. You should email From Scratch Club (fromscratchclub at gmail) to get details about the "craft fair" Chris is organizing for the December swap in Schenectady. I bet your creations would be a big hit!

  5. @Becky - Thanks! I feel just making one thing for someone special means so much. The intention behind the gift is the best part, me thinks.

@Betsy - I'll keep you in the loop about a craft fair if it happens!

Thanks for reading. I love your comments :-)

Hey there! Thanks for reading - and caring enough to leave your thoughts. Try to be nice, but if you can't, please direct your anger at me and not other commenters :)
